Description:
DCF Licorice is a flashy Irish Draught Sport Horse filly sired by Snowford O'Donnell, an imported black colored RID stallion from England. DCF Licorice is 3/4 Irish Draught and she is registered with the IDHSNA. She would make a wonderful asset to an Irish Draught breeding program. Her pictures were taken in August so her coat color has faded. She should mature to 16.1 - 16.3h. She is very sweet, friendly, and brave. Licorice has great feet and bone, and good substance. She loves to be groomed. Licorice has a wonderful temperament and a very good mind. She is very easy to teach and work with. She is UTD on deworming and vaccinations.

Her sire, Snowford O'Donnell, is a successful eventer and was named 2006 Hunter Sire of the Year by the Northwest Sport Horse Breeders Association (NWSHBA). Snowford O'Donnell is out of the great stallion producing mare Harepark Pink, and by the winner of the British 100 day test (all breeds), showjumper Banks Fee Daniel. Imported into the United States as a yearling, Snowford O'Donnell started his show career in hand as a 3 year old, winning both the 3 year old Reserve Championship in Hunter Suitability and Dressage Suitability for the year under the Northwest Sport Horse Breeders Association auspices. In 2004, Snowford O'Donnell received the USDF All Breeds Award for Irish Draught and was awarded a USDF Certificate of Performance as well.

Licorice's dam named Diamond Spring Fever is an Irish Draught Sport Horse imported from England and is sired by England's leading RID sire Roma Diamond Skip. Roma Diamond Skip was the Reserve Champion at the Royal Dublin Show as a 4 year old. Roma Diamond Skip is a consistent and proven producer of winners and champions in eventing, showjumping, hunters and dressage.
